Earlier this week, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) told companies to stop manufacturing 14 unapproved opioid drugs. According to the FDA, this ban includes certain "high concentrate oral solutions containing morphine sulfate and unapproved immediate release tablets containing morphine sulfate, hydromorphone, or oxycodone."
