Social Workers: A Vital Part of the Hospice Team

March is Social Work Month and the 2010 theme is "Social Workers Inspire Community Action." Social workers serve as part of the hospice team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, family members and caregivers, to assist patients at the end of their life receive the best care and access to appropriate hospice services.
